If your weekends are at all like mine, Sunday morning usually starts in a foggy haze. There are usually only 2 things I want to do, eat and figure out what the hell happened the night before.
English writer Guy Beringer is credited with inventing (can you really invent a meal?) brunch in part to help battle a nasty hangover. In his 1895 essay "Brunch: A Plea" he said among other things, "Brunch is cheerful, sociable and inciting. It is talk-compelling. It makes you satisfied with yourself and your fellow beings."
Obviously we here at TopGolf are not claiming to have invented brunch (again, can you invent a meal?) we would never take that credit from Mr. Beringer.
Starting Sunday, May 13, TopGolf will be rolling out our new brunch menu. The menu will be available Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from open - 2 pm. Guests will be invited to partake in such classics as Eggs Benedict, French Toast and Steak & Eggs. In addition, we will be offering new favorites, Chicken & Waffles, the Granola-tini and a little beauty we whipped up called The Hangover Cauldron. Just the name eases the most severe alcohol-induced headache!
If the hair of the dog is more your speed, you'll be happy to know that TopGolf will also be rolling out a gourmet Bloody Mary bar (excluding Alexandria) and a full line of Mimosas. And if you're really nice to us, maybe we'll let you keep your glass!
You are no longer relegated to lousy drive-thru food to help nurse your hangover, instead, come out to TopGolf, eat great food, enjoy the warm weather and raise a glass to Guy Beringer.
