TopGolf Foodies

TopGolf was a proud sponsor in Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation event that was held on April 2nd in the gorgeous National Building Museum in Washington DC. We were among select sponsors that night in an effort to end childhood hunger in America.

TopGolf's Corporate Chef, Mark Boyton flew into our nation's capital from Chicago and helped pass out some cool TopGolf swag (not to mention get some great ideas of food trends in DC!).  Guests who attended had a chance to bid on even more prizes from TopGolf in a silent auction such as a 3-Month Executive Membership and a private lesson with our Director of Instruction, Stephen Moskal. This year, funds raised through Taste of the Nation will support No Kid Hungry, Share Our Strength's campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.

The events team and I walked around the amazing venue and sampled some delicious food and beverages from some of the most elite chefs and mixologists in the city. Needless to say we stuffed our faces and in true Anthony Bourdain fashion (minus the cigarettes and excessive swearing) we ventured off and tried things we normally would never have the opportunity to. We sampled everything from foie gras to cupcakes, to "Styrofoam Parmesan". Who eats that? We did!
