What can I say-that night was LEGENDARY!
Everyone on the team arrived bright and early to get our facility A-Class ready and it was a BEAUT. Finally, the sun started setting and we knew it was almost time to rock. We had rolled out the red carpet (literally) and had a line formed at a quarter past 7.
When you stepped into the facility the energy was palpable. Guest faces were glowing with excitement and awe. it would be closely compared to a kid's first step into Disney World. The glowing LED lights pulsating added to the energy before you even stepped into the door.
As you walked into the facility you were instantly greeted by our amazing newbies that had just finished their rigorous (But FUN!) training by our amazing drop team. Within the first 30 minutes the drinks started flowing and the place was ALIVE.
Our signature drinks and tasters were being constantly served by our dedicated bay host around the entire facility. My favorite would have to be our Thai Beef Salad and the Sangria Margarita. Then, if you had a VIP signature room pass, you were mesmerized by the elaborate LED dessert bar that was cascaded by tarts, cakes, oh my! Once your eyes peeled away from that you were redirected to the fully stocked Bloody Mary bar, followed with a scrumptious buffet.
STOMP STOMP CLAP STOMP STOMP CLAP (cue Texans Cheerleaders) "AND now entering the building is number #13 for the Houston ROCKETS THE BEARD½..JAMES HARDEN ::Cue roaring and applause:: Following him is the one and only BROOKS REED with the Houston Texans that are dominating BTW½and his fellow partner of crime TJ YATES!! ::Cue loud roaring girls screaming and guys going crazy!::
These guys were all awesome and Reed was a great sport. Even with his groin injury, he did a chip shot followed by TJ Yates going all out with the driver. The guys played and had a great time after Eric Anderson's opening speech and ceremonial first hit.
Then, the light show playing to Neyo's "Let's Go". Words cannot describe and can only be seen½so stop by TopGolf Houston ASAP. And to finish it up½the one and only Scott McCurry's birthday was actually that night as well. It was a success.
In all, it was a monumental night that flowed seamlessly. I know it will be a night I will never forget and for those that experienced it as well½I hope y'all are still talking about it ;)
