While enjoying a warm Saturday afternoon at Topgolf Wood Dale, a buzz began to build in the lobby area. Out of curiosity, I dropped what I was doing to see what was going on. Walking in the door was a group of men dressed in matching tuxedos, accompanying the same amount of women dressed in matching green dresses. I waited a minute to see if this was just the best-looking party to ever come through our doors, or if it was what everyone else assumed. Sure enough, the last two people to enter were a gleaming bride and her groom.
With some assistance from her group, the bride, dressed in a beautiful wedding dress, made her way up to the third floor tee-line. Trailing behind her was the groom and his band of groomsmen. With many hitting-bays available to choose from, the group was adamant that they set up in a specific bay.
After doing some investigative work, I got to the bottom of what was going on. Patrick and Amber met and had their first date at Topgolf Wood Dale two and a half years ago. Fast forward to that sunny Saturday afternoon, where they tied the knot and became husband and wife. Instead of heading straight for their honeymoon, the newlyweds made sure to make one pit-stop. They came back to the exact same bay where it all started.
