On a cold, snowy Tuesday morning, nine members of the Topgolf Centennial Snowchasers team hit the streets to help out in the community and deliver a shoveling surprise for those in need.
With more than 10 inches of snow, the Snowchasers team hit the Centennial neighborhood Hunters Hill and shoveled each house in true ONE TEAM fashion. In about two hours, the team was able to shovel the driveways, pathways, and sidewalks of 13 houses, surprising homeowners who were stunned to come outside their garage and see their driveway already shoveled.
We specifically chose the Hunters Hill neighborhood because several of the homes in the community are assisted living units for the elderly. Upon shoveling, we also discovered that we shoveled the houses of several other senior citizens who live in the community and are not physically able to shovel their driveways or sidewalks.
We were extremely honored that one of Colorado's local news outlets, KDVR Fox 31, wanted to come get coverage of the Topgolf Snowchasers team as part of the news station’s Problem Solvers segment.
What inspired all of this shoveling in the community? One of Topgolf’s core values, CARING. This value means that we always look out for the safety and well-being of our Topgolf family, all of our Guests and the communities in which we are located.
Shoveling for a few hours and helping those in need was an excellent way for us to give back to our community and show our appreciation for all of the Guests who visit us from both near and far!
We cannot wait for the next snowfall so we can go out and shovel again!
