Topgolf Confirms Third Greater Houston Location in Webster
The global golf entertainment company will break ground this month in Webster
HOUSTON – Dec. 9, 2014 – Topgolf has teed up point-scoring golf fun for nearly 2 million guests since the concept arrived in Houston two years ago. The company opened its second Houston-area location in Spring earlier this year, and now its third location is about to break ground. Topgolf Webster will be located at 21401 Gulf Freeway and will open to the public in fall 2015.
Ranked among the top 15 most popular recreational activities in the area , Topgolf is the only entertainment center of its kind. It offers competitive golfing games for all ages and skill levels and advanced technology to track every player’s shots. Topgolf Webster will be the company’s eighth Texas location, modeled closely after its existing facilities in Spring and near Katy . The new three-level facility will include approximately 3,000 square feet of private event space and 102 climate-controlled hitting bays that can host up to six players at one time. Shor estimates that Topgolf Webster will serve approximately 450,000 visitors in its first year of operation. Nearly half of all Topgolf guests describe themselves as “non-golfers.”
