Venue Update

From Monday 19th July:

In line with the latest government relaxation, we're making some adjustments to the safety measures we have in place.

We'll be retaining most of our health and safety procedures, including enhanced cleaning and dividers between bays and till points. We encourage guests to continue to wear masks while inside our venues - all associates will continue to do so.

'Rule of 6' will no longer be enforced, so you can visit with larger groups once again - maximum bay capacity remains at 6.

We'll be adding more tables to our restaurant areas, but they will still be spaced further apart than normal, and we'll continue to limit the total number of guests inside. We also ask that guests do not stand in common areas unless queuing.

All orders must continue to be placed via a host, or through our Order & Pay mobile service, where available - this means orders will still not be taken at the bar. We'll continue to operate cashless too.

Health and Safety Measures

We continue to operate with measures which emphasise Guest and Associate health and safety, and working with local health officials to ensure we are following the latest guidelines.

In order to make sure your visit is a safe one, we need a little help from a very important person: you. Please help us by abiding by these new safety measures and respecting other guests’ space throughout the venue.

We have constructed covered areas with lighting and heating outside our venues to keep the elements at bay. They are also designed to help maintain social distancing by minimising the number of people inside the building.

The entire venue is cleaned throughout the day and all common areas are regularly disinfected. Golf clubs, golf balls, game screens and other frequently touched bay surfaces will be disinfected between each group.

Every Associate is required to have a health check prior to starting work, wear a mask at all times. Additionally, all Associates must follow frequent handwashing protocols, per Public Health England & Government guidelines.

We’re minimising crowds in the Venue with new entry and exit procedures to keep guests moving safely.

Other changes we've made:

- Limiting games played to two per session from 5pm weekdays and all weekend, helping us keep waiting to a minimum.
- During school holidays the 2 game limit will run at all times.
- Temporarily removing most offers to help keep guests flowing through the venue quickly.
- Cashless payments only.

How is Topgolf responding to the COVID-19 outbreak?

We continue to follow our existing industry-leading protocols, which prepare us for unforeseen events like COVID-19. We’ve made changes to protect you and our Associates.

We have new social distancing guidelines, new protocols to keep our Associates healthy and safe, and enhanced disinfecting measures in our outdoor hitting bays.

Topgolf is committed to creating an environment where everyone can play with confidence. We ask that you join us in our Commitment to Play Safely by keeping these things in mind on your next visit:

  • Remember to social distance responsibly
  • If you’re feeling ill, save your swing for the next time
  • If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19, please be sure to stay home until you are well
  • Wash hands or use hand sanitizer that is provided in the venue before and after game play
What measures are you taking to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your Topgolf Associates?

All Associates are required to enter the venue via a designated Associate door and have a health check on arrival. All Associates are required to wear face coverings at all times, follow frequent handwashing protocols, per Public Health England guidelines, and socially distance during breaks and meetings.

Are you taking bookings?

Our priority at this stage is to open our venues cautiously to ensure that we can manage all the required social distancing measures. We are offering a small number of Fast Track slots for those who are on a tight schedule.

What are the steps Topgolf is taking to make the hitting bays a safe area to play?

Our bays provide an outdoor and spacious experience for all Guests with protective bay dividers and 3 metres of space between bays. Golf clubs, golf balls, game screens and other frequently touched bay surfaces will be disinfected between each group. New menus have been printed (access also available online through smart phone).

Are there any changes to the check-in procedure?

Guests will be greeted at the front entrance to the venue and explained the new safety measures. Two-metre social distancing markers are placed throughout the lobby and the check-in desk has a safety barrier to mitigate person-to-person contact.

If at capacity, Guests will be asked to wait in their cars or a designated area and not congregate. A text message will be sent when bays are ready. New entry & exit procedures have been put in place for safe movement throughout the venue, with floor markers and signage installed for easy navigation.

Am I required to wear a facemask when visiting Topgolf?

We encourage all guests over 12 to wear a face covering while inside the venue, except for when eating or drinking.

Am I required to bring my own golf clubs?

We encourage Guests to bring their own golf clubs, but it’s not necessary. We will continue to provide all Guests with access to complimentary golf clubs, which are disinfected after each group.

Should I be concerned about the safety of my food and beverage items?

At present there is no evidence to suggest a risk of transmission through food and beverage items. We have however ensured safety through the production of our menu items by ensuring all related associates wear appropriate PPE, undergo a health screening at the start of every shift and are fully trained on good handwashing & sanitisation techniques. We are ensuring that all food & beverage products delivered to our venues adhere to COVID19 safety regulations.

Can I arrange an event or party?

We are currently taking bookings for a maximum of 30 people - more information.

Are you accepting cash?

For the time being we've stopped accepting cash, so any payment made in venue will need to be made with a credit/debit card or mobile contactless.
