First off, pronunciation: "Hah-Lay-AH-Mah-No" (Go ahead, practice!). HaleAmanO translates to House of Sharks; now that we cleared that up, let’s dive into the band!
Residing in the SIN CITY known as Las Vegas, Hawaiian influenced reggae group HaleAmanO is known for their upbeat sound with highly energized live performances. Their unique sound can be described as a culmination of soothing R&B and Lovers Rock, deep rootsy reggae, and a slight rock and dancehall influence. Originally being formed in 2005 by Ryan Fleming (rhythm guitar, vocals, and producer), their sound has transformed many times after finding additional singers Israel Waahila (vocals and ukulele) and Ted Beavers (lead guitar and vocals).
June of 2010 was the release of their first full-length album. Their translated self-titled album "House of Sharks" carried 12 tracks of hard-hitting originals, with popular songs such as "Love Me for Me", "JAH Soldier" and "Temptationz" which carried the #1 spot on Pipeline2paradise Radio - and soon after won the "2011 Best Dancehall Album" for the Hawaii Music Awards. Going the extra mile and being different is their vision.
Las Vegas' ST1 reggae is a six-piece Reggae band, that brings sweet vocal harmonies, driving rhythm, and rich horns - all in the traditions of the islands! Formed in February 2010, ST1 has been supplying Island Reggae to local shows, ranging from Aloha Fridays, Guam Fest, Pure Aloha Festival, Viva Las Volley, all the way to Reggae in the Desert 2019.
"...when ST1 comes into your town, we fill the room with a positive sound!"
