Social Events & Kids Party FAQ's
What kind of parties can be booked online?
Excellent question! Adult social events (for 7-12 players) and kids’ birthday parties (for 12-18 children ages 12 and younger plus 8 additional adults) can be booked online.* At this time, online bookings are available only for these group sizes during select dates and times. If you wish to book a larger party or during a date or time that’s outside of what is shown online, our experienced Event Sales Team would be happy to assist you. *Teen parties (ages 13-17) are also available at Topgolf Allen, Dallas, Fort Worth and The Colony. Please also note that kids' birthday parties are available for groups of 10-15 kids at Topgolf Alexandria and Wood Dale.
When do I have to pay for my party/event?
We require a 50% deposit of the total event cost, including applicable tax and service charge at the time your event is booked online. The remaining balance will be due 3 days prior to your event date. Any additional items you order at the venue on the day of your event will need to be paid at the conclusion of the event with your Bay Host (a.k.a. Topgolf Event Ambassador).
How important is the Guest count when planning my party/event?
One word: VERY! We customize every event and rely on your headcount to determine things such as the number of bays for your group, how much food to prepare and any additional staff we may need to ensure your party is the best it can be. We will do our best to accommodate any last-minute additions to your Guest list, but we cannot guarantee that we will have the space or capacity to do so. Additional Guests will be accounted for on your final bill at the conclusion of the event.
What if I’m not absolutely sure of my final Guest count?
We get it…Guests don’t always RSVP right away (or at all!). Give us your best estimate, and keep us updated promptly as things change. We will allow you to lower your Guest count by as much as 20% up to 7 days prior to your event. Based on availability, you can add to your guest count up to 3 days in advance.
When is the best time to schedule my party/event?
Well, that’s really up to you! Search for an open time via our online booking platform. If you don’t see a time that fits your schedule, complete an Event Inquiry Form, and one of our Event Specialists will contact you to discuss other options. Trust us, you’ll have a blast and we’ll bring the FUN, regardless of the day or time!
How many people can each bay hold?
Each bay can accommodate up to 6 Guests playing the Topgolf games at one time. We also allow an additional 2 adult Guests in each bay (8 total Guests maximum). Please plan accordingly for the number of bays your group will need.
What staff will be available to keep my Guests happy and my party/event running smooth?
Topgolf assigns dedicated Event Ambassador(s) specifically to work all of the parties/events hosted at our venue. They will wait on you and your Guests right there in your assigned bay(s)/space. So, you can just kick back and have FUN! Please keep in mind, we schedule your Event Ambassador(s) based on your Guest count, which is why making sure we get an accurate number from you in advance is so crucial.
How is the food served during parties/events?
It depends on the type of party/event. For kids’ parties of 18 Guests or fewer, we serve the food in individual baskets. For adult social events that select one of our weekend packages (Flex or Sampler) for 8-16 Guests, the food is served in your bays and delivered as it is ordered from the main kitchen’s culinary team. We suggest all food from the main menu be ordered from your server no later than 45 minutes after your scheduled event start time to ensure ample time for your Guests to enjoy all that yumminess! For larger kids’ parties, social events and corporate events, the host/planner will work with our Event Sales Team to pre-select food from our delectable event catering menu, which is prepared by our in-house chefs and is served buffet style at a pre-determined service time.
Can I bring my own birthday cake?
We get it, some of our Guests are outstanding bakers! But we are responsible for ensuring that the preparation, service and delivery of all food and beverages meets our high standards of EXCELLENCE and food safety. Homemade cakes are prohibited since we cannot be sure they were prepared in accordance with food safety regulations. We do allow store-bought cakes and cupcakes. But who wants cake when you can enjoy Topgolf’s famous injectable donut holes?
Besides the cake, can I bring other outside food and drinks?
No, we do not allow outside food or drinks. On a positive note, you get the day off from the cooking and the cleaning. Not to mention, we prepare the majority of our food from scratch daily and have some of the best chefs in the business. They are more than happy to accommodate any food sensitivities or allergies. So, sit back and relax, and let our culinary team take it from here…we’ve got this!
Am I allowed to bring decorations?
Well, that depends on your definition of decorations. We love a little festive flare just as much as anybody, but we do need to be careful that your fiesta doesn’t turn into a fiasco. Please discuss exactly what you have in mind with our Event Sales Office.
What if I need to change or edit my party or menu that I booked online after I’ve already checked out?
Where’s that “un-do” button when you need it? If you need to make any edits to the party/event you booked online through our website, just let one of our Event Sales Associates know and we’ll get things squared away. You should receive a call from someone on our team shortly after you place your online order, or you can contact the Event Sales Office at the Topgolf venue where you booked the party.
