Hampton Court Palace

Take a trip to Hampton Court Palace and experience the public dramas and private lives of Henry VIII in this beautiful and renowned house. You may either venture around as you wish or, if you want to do something a little different, it would be well worth looking into having a private tour.

The Hampton Court private tour would be a fantastic choice for anyone really wanting to take a step back into the Tudor era with a guide - a celebrated historian who has appeared on multiple television specials - in a tour that can be tailored to your interests.

Or, if you want to see this historical house in an even more unique light, why not explore this vast palace on its scenic bike tour? This is the ideal way for first-time visitors to get acquainted with the palace grounds as well as the countryside that encompasses it such as Bushy Park.

Opening hours: Wednesday - Sunday 10am - 4pm.

And if your kids are a bit too small for this, there’s also the Little Learners electric car track where they can still get behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz.

After a day of exhilarating driving, you can then pay a visit to the Recharge Cafe or (if you want something a little more formal) you can dine at the Bistro complete with overhanging views of the driving action on the tracks.

And, if you visit on the last weekend of the month, you can even catch the Silver Arrows monthly team display.

Opening hours: 10am - 6pm.

Greyfriars Vineyard

Take a tranquil trip to this beautiful commercial vineyard and try a delicious sip of their award winning English Sparkling wine. Greyfriars has been producing great grapes and wines for over 20 years, and since 2010 you can try this stunning drink in a state of the art winery, cellar and tasting room.

Due to being set in the North Downs, Greyfriars is blessed with similar geological and soil conditions to the Champagne region in France, meaning it can produce three classical Champagne grape varieties; Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

So, if you’re a fan of good wine and champagne, think about taking a trip on the Greyfriars wine tour and, of course, sampling lots of these fantastic drinks.

Opening hours: prices and time slots depend on the chosen activity and day.
