Topgolf Summer Academy is non-stop entertainment and learning. Each Academy is designed and taught by our golf professionals in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Our low student-to-instructor ratio ensures each junior golfer receives in-depth instruction while he or she develops a winning golf swing.

How Summer Academy Works

For 5 days, children ages 6-12 will learn everything they need to know to improve their game.

The Basics: Children ages 6-12
9AM - 12PM, Mon. - Fri.
Please dress comfortably for the weather and wear flat, closed-toe shoes (no golf spikes).
Daily Schedule: Please let us know at registration if your child has any food allergies.
Child Drop Off: 8:30AM - 9AM
Academy Begins: 9AM
Lunch: 11AM - 11:30AM
Child Pick Up: 12PM

What age can my child be to participate in Summer Academy at Topgolf?

Summer Academy is for juniors ages 6 to 12.

What should my child wear to Summer Academy each day?

Please dress comfortably for the weather and wear flat, closed-toe shoes (no golf spikes).

Will food be served during Summer Academy?

Yes! Individual lunches are served each day. See below for the lunch schedule:

Monday: Chicken bites & fries
Tuesday: Cheeseburger & grapes
Wednesday: Grilled cheese & fries
Thursday: Mini corn dogs & grapes
Friday: Chicken bites & fries

Can accommodations be made if my child has dietary restrictions?

Yes, please note all dietary restrictions at the time of registration so the venue team can take all necessary precautions. We also recommend communicating dietary restrictions with venue staff at time of drop-off.

Is it okay to stay while my child participates in Summer Academy?

Of course! Keep in mind your child will be busy learning during all the fun activities. We recommend either grabbing a bay to enjoy our games and food for yourself or watching from one of our comfy common areas. Bonus! We offer free wi-fi.

Can my child stay longer if need be?

Summer Academy is 9 a.m.- Noon and kids must be picked up at that time. If you and your child would like to play longer, we recommend making a reservation, stopping by the check-in desk to reserve a bay or you can grab a bite to eat in one of our common areas. Please note anyone under 16 must be supervised by a Guest 21+ at all times.

Can my child stay in the same group as friends/family members during the week?

Of course! Let us know who you would like your child paired with during registration. It is also helpful to remind the Director of Instruction during drop-off on the first day.

Are all venues participating in Summer Academy?

Nearly all venues are offering sessions throughout the summer. To check Summer Academy details at other venues, select Change Location on the landing page. Please note that registrations cannot be transferred to a different location once purchased.

What will my child get with a Summer Academy entry?

Registration into Summer Academy comes with daily golf instruction and lunch, Topgolf swag, a daily scorecard to track progress, and a certificate of completion signed by the Director of Instruction.

Can my child bring their own food?

Outside food is not permitted for the health and safety of all Summer Academy students. Please note any allergies, dietary restrictions, and/or special accommodations regarding meals for your child at the time of registration.

Will my child need their own clubs?

If your child has their own clubs, they can bring them to play. We have free clubs available to use at all times, from tots to adults.

The instructors were fabulous! Made all of the kids feel welcome, knew their names, and made sure they had a good time. My daughter is now interested in taking private lessons with several of the instructors. Her golf confidence has really improved. Thank you so much!
